The Peter Hung Pain Research Institute Seminar took place on 8 November 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, as part of The International Symposium on Spine and Paravertebral Sonography for Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine 2025 (ISSPS 2025),organized by the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

The speakers' presentations shed light on the latest developments in their respective fields, including novel empirical Chinese medicine formulas and critical insights into chronic post-surgical pain mechanisms. The engaging panel discussions encouraged participants—comprising anaesthetists, pain physicians, medical practitioners, and medical students, to delve into new research opportunities and collaborative efforts that could significantly enhance healthcare delivery and therapeutic outcomes.
